Why does The Daggers website still show that the Directors of the club are:
Directors: Brian Bjelde, Dave Bennett, Peter Freund, Morgan Harris, Matt Rizzetta?
When do we get to see the New Owners?
I'm assuming that, despite announcing it nearly a month ago, the takeover hasn't been completed yet (for reasons unknown since communication is still akin to North Korea). Alternatively the takeover has fallen through, which would be considerably more worrying. There was great fanfare when this was announced alongside the Andy Carroll signing, but since then - nothing.
I would say that the new owners are effectively in control of the club but the formal legal process has not been fully completed yet.
Once this has been finalised however, we should find out a lot more about them and their plans and ambitions for the club.

Understand the FA are the ones causing all of the delays, been with them for weeks but ‘Holidays’ is the reasons it’s becoming so slow to be signed off.

What has North Korea got to do with anything?steeevooo wrote: Fri Aug 08, 2025 11:19 am I'm assuming that, despite announcing it nearly a month ago, the takeover hasn't been completed yet (for reasons unknown since communication is still akin to North Korea). NK is known for not being forthcoming with releasing news about events.Reg Varneys wife wrote: Fri Aug 08, 2025 11:51 amWhat has North Korea got to do with anything?steeevooo wrote: Fri Aug 08, 2025 11:19 am I'm assuming that, despite announcing it nearly a month ago, the takeover hasn't been completed yet (for reasons unknown since communication is still akin to North Korea). I am so tired of the heat and humidity of the summers in the southeastern USA.

I was listening on on the commentary for the Ebbsfleet game, (great work again, looking forward to the season ahead with your summaries) and it was mentioned that the new temporary director was there.
Did any one see him?
All I'm able to assume as mentioned previously is there may be a few legal issues that are complicating the process.

There were two Middle Eastern men sitting in the directors box that I assumed were involved in our takeover. To be honest, I just hope these people are real and legit. I have no problem if they want to keep a low profile. The King tweets/interviews, “From the boardroom” videos and constant Freund tweeting was the behaviour of 3 egotistical arse wipes that couldn’t do a good job to back up all their bravado. So if someone has the humility to keep quiet and (hopefully) let our performance do the talking, then great.rebeldagger wrote: Mon Aug 11, 2025 10:15 am I was listening on on the commentary for the Ebbsfleet game, (great work again, looking forward to the season ahead with your summaries) and it was mentioned that the new temporary director was there.

I know for a fact that Thompson was in attendance. I wonder what’s happening with him - will he step down, or will he have less of a say?

Still? I wondered how long it would take for him to come back!

Mike Jones gave me a quick tour of that side of the stands and in the room across from the banquet hall behind a closed door with a glass window I did see someone that could pass for a Qatari. So I think I can say I did see the new owner. I did not think to ask Mike for an update on all of that and when I was across the stadium in the stands I was told that Mike likely would know all the details, though he may not be able to divulge anything to me at this point. But he did point this person out with "That is the new owner." statement.
