I'm sure if my memory serves me correctly that when he played for us ten years ago during a televised cup game he went to take a corner kick and missed the ball completely and kicked the corner flag. It was both funny and embarrassing at the time but would not want him back probably for that alone.

He has now announced his departure from Kidderminster, so must be a done deal. Experienced player, stays fit, scores goals, it’s what we need. Gives us a solid captaincy option that we desperately needed too, after Phippsy and Hill left.

When he was here (was it last season?) for a charity game, I told him we were missing him up front and he said he was still playing and waiting for the call!!
