Re: Managerial candidates
Whoever they go for and I hope the appointment is top notch for this level has to be in place....soon. It has been quiet since Ssturday, with the website promoting season tickets/club shop opening times is not what the majority want to read. An updste on the manager and players is what I and ...

Re: Hornchurch A
That was shocking today. Worst than Solihull in a way, as we just didn't turn up. Missed passes, ball watching, no communication......embarrassing. Not sure any of them earned a place next season....and we need a captain, a leader.

No probs Lenlen wrote: Mon Mar 30, 2026 2:57 pm I worded it badly, I didn't mean the same amount that Parkinson is earning with Wrexham, I meant a silly amount of money for a NLS team considering the Cowleys are managing two divisions higher.
If we're ambitious, we need to think big. A L2 mamagement team fits the bill

Re: New Manager?
For me, if the club is ambitious, then the best team to manage this club going forward are the Cowley brothers. Proven track tecord at this level, got Lincoln City back into the league and have done well in the EFL since.
They would be my choice. A cheeky approach wouldn't hurt.

Re: New Manager?
Surely, he can only consider the Dagenham job if he was offered and thats unlikely.

Re: FAO Rayleigh / Leigh / Southend Daggers
The trains to Romford ob Greater Anglia are running Auntie Merge, so I will decline the offer. The only issue I have is whether to get the 248 bus or the old push n pull from Romford to Upminster (then walk).

Re: Bradbury
Hello RayleighDagger3.
So....there's another out here.
Agree with you on Bradbury but he should have gone earlier. Thank god for Uddin n Co making a bold decisionsl. A good pre-season is needed and I hope a top coach for this level ill be in place. COYD

Re: When do we get to see the New Owners?
Okay I have since heard other things.
At least Ilford FC, when we’re in the Essex Senior League, will make a nice local derby in a year or two.
If we end up in the Essex Senior League as you suggest, perhaps we can then go back to being a Members Club because as I recall we didn't do too ...

Re: Lack of signings
Think we’ve signed some players but media guy is on holiday so no announcements until he returns. Cant the MD work a computer, guess someone from the Jurassic period of thinking would find that difficult.
The website posted the sad news of one of our life long supporters this week, so someone ...

Lack of signings
Yes, we've signed 3-4 players, but I am slightly concerned with the lack of quality we have in midfield and how slow we are at recruiting this summer. Bradbury has now had over two weeks, and the lack of signings to date worries me. We need a leader in the middle of the park and someone with an ...

I am not a regular on here but share concerns over the attendances at Vic Road this season and recent seasons with the long term survival of the club I love..
