Yes obviously very talented and local lads as well. It would also obviously cost a tremendous amount of money of which only the likes of Wrexham have spent. It seems far from realistic but I suppose it's nice to dream.RayleighDagger wrote: Fri Mar 27, 2026 3:31 pm For me, if the club is ambitious, then the best team to manage this club going forward are the Cowley brothers. Proven track tecord at this level, got Lincoln City back into the league and have done well in the EFL since.
They would be my choice. A cheeky approach wouldn't hurt.

Surely, he can only consider the Dagenham job if he was offered and thats unlikely.

I don't think the Cowley Brothers woukd earn a salary on par with Parkinson at Wrexham. We can match or better the terms they have with Colchester (if the investment is there). The new owners will have to make the next appointment a statement of intent and whoever it is, won't come cheap.len wrote: Mon Mar 30, 2026 11:08 amYes obviously very talented and local lads as well. No probs Lenlen wrote: Mon Mar 30, 2026 2:57 pm I worded it badly, I didn't mean the same amount that Parkinson is earning with Wrexham, I meant a silly amount of money for a NLS team considering the Cowleys are managing two divisions higher.
If we're ambitious, we need to think big. A L2 mamagement team fits the bill

We’re not going to be throwing silly money around, just because we have a few rich folk about it’s doesn’t change the fact the club is losing £1.6m a year, to throw even more at it would be idiotic.
