for me id rest all players for this. i dont think burnett will and prob rightly so

id go with a 4132 formation

-----------obrien

hoyte pask obi widdowson

----- boucard

chambers raymond ferdinand

-------mcclure doidge

not even sure if we still have ferdinand tbh. but its not far off a few crappy teams we put out earlier in season so not to bad a reserve team.

there be no width but hey we dont give the wingers the ball anyway.

anyone else rest our so called first choice 11?
but we finished 9th!

so i take it you think we should stick with our best team

btw we wont be relegated on saturday but against halks we can give ourselfs a big boost with alot of extra cash to get the players needed to stay up.

passes you the pipe

My reply was mainly in the reference to the "rightly so" part, as in you justifying such a decision...

No, we cant be relegated on Saturday but

a) we are nowhere near being in a position to start resting players (christ, we played 7 '1st teamers' last night in the ESC)
&
b) winning supposedly breeds confidence, something we've in rations since August.

In fairness, my reading of the message is that the 'and rightly so' bit is in reference to the manager NOT resting players rather than the other way round...

I mightve had a couple of light ales.

Original message makes sense now even if it is confusing as feck by saying you would rest players and in the same breath that'd it be rightly so if WB didnt

Anyway yeah... both games are must win IMO - 3 points & a 3rd rd tie with Everton. Anything less is a massive failure

tbh id had a few aswell hee hee

id atleast rest jamie jodi and any with slight knocks or a booking away from suspension at the very least.

apart from midfield the team isnt that far off our first team which shows me how bad our squad is
but we finished 9th!

We need 3 points,we must win this one as well to get a gap between us and York/Yeovil.Shouldnt rest anyone, they seem to rest from the 85th minute whoever he plays.
