New captain
Now Abu, Doey and Saah have gone who out of the current squad could step up to be captain? Like Howell could be a shout if he stays but he seems to miss too many games each season, Cureton will probably miss more than last season too, don't think we'll give it to Cousins as we never gave it to Robbo even when Arber/Anwar/whoever else was sat out. Maybe it's going to go to a new signing?

Its a hard choice but on experience you would have to give it to Cureton, we do lack leaders.TommyD&R wrote:Now Abu, Doey and Saah have gone who out of the current squad could step up to be captain? It would be a hard choice, if Hines comes back and can remain fit, I'd like to see him wear the armband.
However, if his injury woes keep him away possibly Cousins could do it or maybe Howell or Bingham?

No, because if as expected doey leaves and Bingham and Howells follow suit then there isn't anyone that I can see left who could lead the team. Cousins can't conduct matters on the pitch, Boucard isn't captain material and JC seems as though he's too nice a bloke to give out a bollocking.Diggerthedog wrote:What because he is ex West Ham?stanton101 wrote:Personally I'd give it to widdowson.
