Nice appointment. Welcome to the Daggers, Lee.

There is currently no announcement from our club yet, as it looks like Hemel wanted to preempt any statement from us.
Tom, our social media whizz, has tweeted he is out having Sunday lunch and would have liked a heads up, so lets not jump on our club for not announcing this first.
Welcome Lee Allinson

I am just happy the posters on this board are happy. I trust y'alls take being close to the situation, though Hemel Hempstead Town F.C. was doing something good enough to be 5th in the table.
I am so tired of the heat and humidity of the summers in the southeastern USA.
On paper this is an excellent first step. It reminds me a bit of when we went out and got Garry Hill, looked at the division and went "who is the best gaffer". None of this little black book nonsense, just someone who looks the part and has recent form of punching above his weight.
Now we need to sort out the retained list and start rebuilding.

Good news at last, this guy really seems to know what it takes in Non League to run teams with ambition and I'm sure he'll be able to bring in some good players with a decent budget. Pretty sure he kept the Tudors in play off area most of the past Season, well done to our board like many really happy times ahead and certainly be interesting the moves from here now.
Not familiar with his old squad, but assume he will look at one or two to bring up to Full Time football after the way they played this season just gone?
Noticed someone online made a comment about 'he will probably bring his son over and play him every game'... any idea who this is??

Fantastic news for us. We have done the right thing here and gone for a manager on an upwards trajectory, hopefully he can drag us with him. Also great to see that we signed him quickly and this will give him control over the retained list. Anwar has been doing a cracking job so far with every decision he has made.
I did see that comment too, apparently it’s his stepson and he played 37 times for them last year. Not sure who it is, but if he played 37 times in a team that made it to the playoffs then he can’t be too bad, and definitely better than the mugs we had this year. Sign him up

With the season just finished and lots of clubs not yet released their retained lists our new manager has plenty of time to assess who he would like to sign. Having spent the last 18 months in this division he knows what's needed to win this division.
Also I imagine he will have plenty of help from Andy Carroll in deciding who he keeps from our current squad.

Great appointment, with only 1 automatic promotion place you have to be looking at a minimum of play offs next seasons and we have someone who has done that before. Clear he was the target and we acted professionally and did it once their season was done, unlike their chairman who chucked his toys out of the pram and announced it before we did after saying he’s not for sale few days earlier.
Great job so far from Anwar.
