Sending support to Andy Carroll ahead of his first game as interim manager.

Let’s spread some positivity.

By saying “let’s show some support” makes it sound like Bradbury didn’t get any from us! The fact that I/we turn up every week at home and some away games shows that I/we did give our support regardless of the dross being served up for our entertainment, perhaps wording your comment in another way would get your point across in a better way.
Carroll or whoever ends up as head coach will always get our support (even that useless piece of s#t Young) but we don’t have to like or admire the tactics that they employ, my frustration is usually the fact that the players we have are as good as any when fit so why are we continually “parking the bus” as with Bradbury, best form of defence is attack, I’d rather lose giving it a go than the dull crap served so far this season.

Totally agree with the awful “parking the bus” tactics used by Bradbury. I wouldn’t have minded so much had they worked because then perhaps he would have had some justification in using them but they didn’t. We have lost a number of games and points during this season because of this.
Also prior to Andy Carroll recovering from injury, his idea was to pump the ball long up to our small forwards which were just gobbled up by big defenders.
It has been a very frustrating season on the pitch and pleased he has now gone and we can get someone in who will bring us some positively.

Ha! Yes my ‘send some support’ to Andy seems to be worded poorly.

It would be nice to have a thread that wished him well without any negativity and without talking about how badly any previous incumbent has done.

Re: Last comment in interview.

Is there a betting line for Andy’s clothing choice for the game?

He didn't go suit or tracksuit, but somewhere in between you could say. Obviously some sort of designer gear.

I saw a photo on a certain social media site and it did appear to be a suit in that the fabric was the same for the jacket and trousers. But it was not a track suit that would be fitting for an athletic event. Nor was it a formal business suit . It may have passed as a more formal business suit but he did not have a necktie and from what I could tell his shirt was not an Oxford. It may have been closer to a t-shirt style, I am not sure it was a polo shirt either as I did not see a collar.

So technically a suit it seems, but not 100% classic business suit either.
