Another game against lowly opposition that we should beat but as we know our recent form away from home has been abysmal. We are struggling to score goals at the moment so not expecting too much.
Not sure if Joe Haigh is available but as was shown on Saturday without him there is no creativity in the team.

Would prefer to get beat tonight playing a more attacking line-up then to draw 0-0 with two defensive central midfielders in front of 3 centre backs again... almost statistically impossible, having watched the club for 25 years, to see us play as badly as we did at the weekend again... Rarely have I seen a match that we didn't lose with absolutely no positive to take out of it. That was a quality of opposition (with all due to respect to Enfield) that we used to only ever play in the ESC with our youngsters and squad playing getting a run out.

2026 Away form:

Played 7
Won 1
Lost 4
Drawn 2
Scored 3
Against 7
GD minus 4
Points 5/21

Farnborough are 3/1 for the win. Like printing money.

Bradbury Out.

Those stats just sums it up, with around 8 games left and 8 months into this Season truly terrible and other than the odd game our daggers still arn't sure how to accomplish any sort of winning run to give us any hope?

Three goals away from home and a win. It is amazing how erratic teams are in this division including us as we now find ourselves just six points outside the playoffs.
We still seem to have lots of injuries including Dieng who it seems is now out for the season.

Fact is despite a few decent results we are still mid table in a part time league, just isn’t good enough with the resources we have, if only we could sign fit players who can last a season… or even half of one!
Playoffs are not going to happen though, im just relieved that it’s looking like we can avoid relegation again.

Hearing Dieng is now out for the season is probably the best takeaway from the game. I’m not sure if he’s on a one or two year deal, but hopefully that’s the last we see of him. Easily the worst club captain in my time watching this club.

Didn’t watch the game but the only stat we were not the worst in (aside from goals) was bookings, with our 3 bookings matched by them. 3 shots on target all match… The sooner this season is done and Bradbury & his deadwood are gone, the better.

Very fortunate to get all 3 points and that’s only down to their incompetence at defending and our goalkeeper. who apart from picking the ball out of the net only their goalie faced 5 shots and Howes having to face 23 shots, they’re fighting for relegation. We won’t get anything from Torquay playing like that.

Dieng always injured, but yet again not surprised given his record, there’s a reason he’s dropped to this level.

Might be 6 points off play offs but we’re a million miles from getting in there, delusional to keep mentioning it.

Dieng is on a two year deal, a very good player on his day but cannot disagree that he is very injury prone.
Also, because it seems that all the other teams in this division are inconsistent in winning more than a game or two and putting a run together, it seems to act as a protective shield around Lee Bradbury as the new owners are then less likely to get rid of him at the moment.
I’m just pleased that we now have enough points to avoid relegation.
