Postponed for the second time now. Third time's the charm?

I can’t understand why it was rearranged for this week when the weather forecast from the original game was continuing rain/poor weather and the Farnborough pitch is in a bad way.

A lot of these clubs should have 4G pitches installed as a basic requirement. That said of course it's the cost that prevents it. We're fortunate enough that our pitch is primarily down to West Ham. If it wasn't for them we'd probably be in the same position.

This is Farnborough's home game and gate, but is it ever done to move the game to the away club so the match can be played, even if more of the gate can go back to the club that should have been the home team.
I am so tired of the heat and humidity of the summers in the southeastern USA.
Earlier in the season in the National League a couple of Rochdale's home games were moved to Accrington and In National League North Hereford are currently playing home games at Worcester and Redditch. I believe in both cases this was the decision of the clubs themselves rather than forced on them by the league. Its only when things are getting tight towards the end of the season and its going to be a problem fitting the games in that the league intervenes.

The Farnborough manager is worth listening to on this. Clearly the game should have been postponed at 930 when the pitch was barely playable. This is 2026 and all major weather forecasts predicted more rain. I have never understood the 'must get the game on at all costs' mentality that still pervades football. Never are the travelling fans considered .He thinks both clubs will make claims for compensation so keep an eye out for that.
On this topic/dialogue I found this in my 2006 diary:
Tuesday 24 January
"Crawley postponed @630 - (took) 90 minutes in car (to get) to Gant's Hill (from Stoke Newington)" ...before I found out.
