Very disappointed to hear that flares have been blighting our games.

Whoever is responsible, please stop. If you know the person bringing them, please ask them to stop.

It's embarrassing. Especially for an equaliser against Hornchurch when we ended up losing anyway.

I suspect the flares may disappear once we're back in normal Saturday league action against someone not local.

They will only be seen at Hornchurch and Chelmsford games, similar to how we only saw it at Southend last year. There may be a group of 30 or so kids that this flare came from, but it’s one flare being thrown by one person. To stop it the stewards just need to be more competent, which unfortunately isn’t going to happen any time soon. Both Hornchurch & Chelmsford saw pre-match comments of bumper attendances and the need for more security, yet not a single search happened. Nor did we even see an increased stewarding presence.

This one person is obviously the problem, but both Dagenham & Chelmsford could not have made it any easier for them to throw it.

Not sure why we’re apologizing to Chelmsford, their fans started it and their lack of safety measures ensured it was inevitable. These morons don’t come every game only when a ‘chance’ of some aggro happens, not been seen at standard games or away games anywhere further then their zip travel cards can take them.

The club are always quick to jump on our fans but never want to update us on anything else.

I don’t think a Chelmsford ‘ fan’ threw a red flare onto to pitch on Monday or was responsible for the red flare that was thrown onto the pitch in the home match against Hornchurch. No doubt that Chelmsford idiots were involved on Monday but the flare incidents are associated with D&R and the club had to make a statement and take appropriate action.
