A game against a team just outside the playoffs with a decent home record although their recent form is not that good.
I'm hoping we will be signing a goalkeeper on loan as Howes is now likely to be out for several weeks with an injury which is a big loss as he has been in good form lately.
We go into the game full of confidence having put together a decent run lately and hope that continues today.

I thought Dan Barden was still on loan to us from Norwich until start of January

Just noticed squad listed today does not include Hemmings, is he injured?

Hat trick for Carroll!
I am so tired of the heat and humidity of the summers in the southeastern USA.

Not injured, won’t be around for much longer is my guess.

What a win, no surprise given both teams form but for us finally a comfortable win and Carroll firing now. Need to keep going now.

A fantastic result that along with our recent form has now moved us up to a respectable league position.
Our new goalkeeper saved a penalty and by all accounts had a very good game as well.
Just need to keep this going.

Wow I didn’t see that coming in a million years. What a result and day for all of those involved. Maybe the first time we scored 5 on the road since Solihull in the John Still days - but to win 5-0, I cannot remember when that last happened. Home or away. When did we even last win 3 matches back to back? Really excited to watch the highlights and see how good the boys were. Especially Haigh, looks like he is finding his form now and it’s great to see.

I’m not his biggest fan so I will remind everyone that yes we are on an 8 game unbeaten streak, but even with that incredible form we find ourselves 12th in the league with an extra game played on most. That’s how poor our start was and for that reason I’m still not ready to say I was wrong about Bradbury. If we can come out of the Hemel match with this unbeaten record in tact then I’ll start to look on his position more favourably. I hope that happens too and we can all laugh at those of us calling for his head earlier this year.

Very well said, things were so bad a few weeks ago that many of us wanted a change of manager as things had reached rock bottom. We then started to get points on the board and more recently winning matches along with a more attractive style of play. Therefore credit must now go to Lee Bradbury and his players for managing to turn around what looked like a lost cause. As we know things can suddenly change again in football but it is certainly great to see at the moment and long may it continue.

Apparently - and apologies but I have washed the vast majority of last season out of my memory - we won three games in a row against Sutton, Gateshead and Hartlepool as recently as September last year?
