Would also mean 3 wins in 4 and 1 defeat in 5.
Along with the announcement (of sorts) in the week, would this allow there to be some positivity about the place??
*puts on tin hat and awaits to be bombarded with reasons why not ha ha

Farnborough are a much better side than Chippenham, if we cough up the chances we gave the Chips it will only end one way.
This... I fear a win relates not on our performance but whether the opposition are clinical or miss a huge amount of opportunities (that they will get).Diggerthedog wrote: Sat Nov 01, 2025 1:19 pm Farnborough are a much better side than Chippenham, if we cough up the chances we gave the Chips it will only end one way.
New guy may be a decent signing but we are giving up chances by the bucket load and starting a full back who only joined the team today
Totally agree tactics are negative. We just don't seem to have any desire or determination to pass the ball forward a lot of the time. We either just keep passing the ball across the back four or aimlessly pump the ball up to Carroll.NBDag wrote: Sat Nov 01, 2025 5:10 pm I am so confused… The fans were not negative throughout the match but the players and tactics were still shit. Can we get another statement telling us what is behind our terrible performances please?
I think in every home game we have been outplayed by the opposition and
just don't think we have enough good players to change the way we play.

Hemmings, Harrack, Haigh and N'guessan were all poor today.

Utterly dreadful. Struggle will continue until Bradbury is sacked.
Desperate for a left sided player so we sign a right back and play him out of position. Continues to play N'Guessan and Haigh when Lawless is getting splinters in his arse and Harrack is at CB.
The midfield is diabolical. We don't create anything like a proper chance.
Do we really need 5 defenders and more defensive midfielders against Farnborough at home? N'Guessan spent half the game making it a back 6. If we do want to go 352 surely we could afford to start Scott as a nominal LWB.

Has there been a full game this season where we have looked really good knocking the ball about and looking like a decent team? We’re so poor with the ball in forward positions. How many times today we end up back at Howes. Obsessed with the long ball to Carroll with no one running off him. Today was really poor. Another opportunity for two wins in a row against a poor side.
A shocking game which only really resulted in one chance in the whole game which was a glaring miss from the opposition. Arguably we were the team on the front foot second half but we created zilch. Another truly horrible home performance.
Now the SE27 Dagger
One thing I cannot work out with Lee Bradbury is how he hasn’t managed to tell any of our attackers to stand near Carroll to feed off the long balls he wins. Too many times we see him winning something in the air and either no one reads the flick on, or he’s knocking it down to one of our many pathetic excuses of a player standing no where near him.
Or again, we will have an attacking set piece and Carroll will be standing beyond the back post looking to knock it in for the muppets in the middle to score. But either the ball goes nowhere near Carroll because Haigh is useless, or he’s knocking it in to idiots who can’t win the ball. Just stick him in the middle as he will win it, and let him have a headed shot on goal. Really shouldn’t be that hard for us to create chances.

All the other players are told to defend first and are all about 30 yards away from him, negative nonsense at home to a very poor side. Nothing will change our fortunes with Bradbury still in charge.
