trent rendall and lusala played brilliantly
We played very well in the first half and scored two well worked goals. For some reason sat back in second half and invited Hemel Hempstead to attack us which was very stressful to watch but fortunately got the three points.
Agree that Rendell played very well.
It was a relief to get a win and hopefully will give the team a bit of confidence.

Putting me in the program (page 8 bottom) clearly was the extra push the club needed.
I am so glad I was in person to see a win, especially after being up 2-0 last Tuesday.

I am so tired of the heat and humidity of the summers in the southeastern USA.

They missed 2 sitters in the box in injury time but a bit of luck we needed.hopefully a bit of confidence and momentum and we can kick on now.
A win is a win, don’t have to be pretty, they just have to happen.
That was almost a pretty win though, equally almost a terrible draw. We dominated for most of the match and everyone played well. Special mention to the defence (aside from that ****** up in the first 5 mins), Harrack and Wilson. All played out their skin.
But Bradbury and the boys need to pick apart how we can so close to throwing that away again after barely letting them lay a glove on us for 70/80 minutes. I personally think it was poor subs timing and poor fitness from us.
Either way, a win is a win. I’m happy.

Now we really need to kick on, still only 5 points from 5 so long way to go before we can say we will be up there come April. Weston Saturday looks another tough game as they’ve started very well.
We played well for about 25 minute spell 1st half, and looked like we were on for a comfortable win, but the totally lost control of the match from the start of the 2nd half & never got close to getting it back.
They missed some absolute golden chances towards the end there, and a better team would of punished us for sure.
A win is a win, and it was great to get the points, but we are gonna have to be a lot better than that to have any chance of putting a run together.

On the positive side yesterday I thought Kayden Harrack had a good game as well as scoring his second goal in successive games. I think last season he was used very sparingly and it was difficult to judge him as a player. It's also good getting Maghoma and Marsh back from injury and would hope that Andy Carroll is soon returning.
I also hope Reggie Young who has been impressive for us so far will not be out for too long.

I thought Marsh was really poor yesterday, but of course there's a huge caveat that he's been out for some time and needs to get up to speed. I hope he can rediscover the form that made Orient fans regard him well.
Harrack was excellent. A few reasons for that, firstly he's in midfield - he was previously used as a defender due to management being obsessed with this notion that defenders should be good on the ball, but he was always uncomfortable defending the box. Secondly, the standard is noticeably a lot lower and he has physical superiority over many opponents. But he's also been given a pretty simple remit - battle hard and get forward where possible. He's quite adept at that side of the game rather than being asked to play endless intricate passes in his own half that get us nowhere.
