Where is PK?

Having watched the first game and now seen the latest defensive line up, this was my reaction to seeing them.
Does anyone know what has happened to PK? He is definitely not the worst defender we have (he was on the bench) and there has been no mention of any injury problems.

Rumours on here suggest that he thinks he is too good for this division and therefore doesn't want to play for us.
If this is the case it would seem fair to stop his wages however, probably not able to do that for whatever reason these days.
I thought he was a reasonable defender but if this is all fact it's seems it has reached an impasse that is not getting us anywhere at the moment.

He wants a move away from the club I believe. I don't know which club though, However.

He was also the only player missing from the new team photo which suggests he's on his way out
