Did anyone go to this? Was it a good night?

I went to this and I think it was an interesting initiative for the club, especially when our core fanbase has sadly been dying off.

There were a number of people there, wearing the new kit, who had purchase it, even though they weren’t dagger fans.

But basically we were in a bar, drinking.
Every hour there was a raffle for a free kit.

Andy Carroll was there for a couple of hours, talking to supporters and having selfies.

If the aim is to market the club outside of Dagenham and its core fanbase then I believe it worked.

It will be interesting to see what comes next.

My only reservation (and of course, I understand the marketing reasons why) was it not being held at the club, as we have 4 bars which can help secure our long-term future and everyones job.

Seems like a fairly successful night then, if only to publisise the team (and brand) and to sell a few shirts.

I'll be looking forward to see what else the commercial department has planned.

I also congratulate the club on this initiative but also fair play to Andy Carroll who seems to be playing a part in letting people know there is a football club in Dagenham.Hopefully this will bring a few more fans through the gates and also sell more shirts.

I was pleasantly shocked how many of the new kit we'd shifted. Loads of people wearing them on Saturday. Not sure if it's just noticeable due to the stark difference with recent kits but certainly feels like we've done well here. Would be interesting to see what the sales figures say.

My Daughters have the away and away goal keeper shirts, they love them. Far better than anything we’ve ever had before.

Saw a guy wearing a new shirt at London Broncos rugby league on Sunday. Never seen anyone wearing a football shirt there before.
