Maghoma in at centre back from Aldershot... Let's hope we can get a full and for season out of him. Looks like another decent pick up for this league...

Does this mean Phipps may be moving on though??

I do hope not but have heard Ryan Hill is going to sign for Aldershot which is very bad news.

Hill wants more money, last season he was poor for me.

No argument if he stays in the division, but certainly didn't set the world alight in the second half of last season... Thought he and Pereira would have kept us up on their own with the way they looked a year earlier.

Good luck to him and anyone else moving on, as long as we know soon and can plan accordingly... Any internal news on Lawless?

Listening to Christian Maghoma interview he comes across as a very confident guy who has worked with the manager previously and would not be surprised if he was to captain the team this season.

With Rees, Pereira and now Hill possibly going that’s more than 25 goals scored last season. We now need some new signings up front to replace these players.

Agree entirely with those last points, Len....Maghoma clear leader material....some scoring forwards required...I was struck watching the Boreham Wood/Torquay play off highlights how neat all the play was up until when the penalty area was reached where finishing was poor.

Apparently Maghoma is around 6ft 3.
I'm amazed we signed a tall defender.

On Wikipedia he is only 6ft 1ins so I think perhaps he should be measured again to sort this out!

If it works out he is only 5ft8ins surely we have a good case to reduce his wages.

That’s why i used ‘around 6ft 3’ especially as other football sites have him listed as 6ft 3.

Anyway; he is tall!!!

Flat feet, football shoes, and high heels is the logical answer.
I am so tired of the heat and humidity of the summers in the southeastern USA.
