This really is a 6 pointer and it comes at a time where we’ve crumbled at home in some big games recently, Southend, Boston and Tamworth leaving us with no home wins in 8 games, so no pressure lads. It’s clear now, lose this and that’s it we will be done for this season.

Clubs all around us signing players to give themselves more of a chance we do nothing to help this manager who is utterly clueless with a bit of quality as his tactics won’t help us, club seem happy to plummet down which makes me fearful of not just the next month but the years ahead.

My request to the clueless Young is when we go 1-0 up DO NOT PARK THE BUS, just go for it, I’d rather go down with some proper Daggers effort than just die with a whimper. But let’s be realistic we’re going to go 1-0 up and lose 1-3 again and then have to listen to the to$$er Young telling us it was the players fault.

So hope I’m wrong but the writing is on the wall :beg:

From maidenhead perspective, its their cup final, they lose and go 4 points adrift with worse goal difference so really 5 points.

35 year old manager against 68 year manager, whos your money on lol

lets see what's happens. look forward to it.

A draw is absolutely no good to either side so its a game surely that will have some fight in it? How confidence can we all be if we go in front at this stage now and can succeed with it through extra time? Very concerning that Alan Devonshire has been down this road before so many times late in the Season and always seems to hold them up, and anybody noticed that the Magpies last four games Woking, Wealdstone, Ebbsfleet and maybe the wire Boston at home final day, Oh are we missing how massive this is for Maidenhead too? The pressure today!

Must win. Weirdly I saw a Maidenhead player say to a local paper that for them today is must not lose. Hopefully they turn up with that attitude and we finally play with some aggression and desire to win.

I won’t hold my breath though. Expectations of what Young can deliver are rock bottom as usual.

I know todays game is massive for us and one we must win, but why are they suddenly searching home fans at the turnstiles :thumbd:

That was just what was needed, just a shame Boston managed a late winner.

Well, that was an unexpected pleasure. I think we need another 8 or 9 points to stay up. Looking at what games we have left and assuming we play with the heart they showed today you'd think we'd probably get them.

A welcome 3 points but let’s not get delusional and think everything will be okay, teams below us still with games in hand, a long way to go still and young still has to go!

Borehamwood got relegated last season with 52 points. 53 points is what York finished with in 19th position. So maybe 10 more points is needed.

Probably one of the worst games of football I’ve ever seen but we will all take scrappy one nils for the rest of the season. Where would we be without Josh Rees, relegated already is my guess. Great atmosphere in the SDS Stand which I’m sure helped the lads get over the line.

I think the league table will take many twists and turns because if you look at the fixtures Wealdstone have remaining, they include playing Boston home and away, Maidenhead and Barnet. So anything can happen between now and the end of the season and we can only hope that as long as we pick up as many points as possible to avoid the drop.
