Told you all Young was the man for the job

Obviously very pleased with this result and hope that it gives the team some confidence moving onto the next games, they are good enough to maintain this performance level but let’s hope that Young doesn’t start thinking it was down to him, he still isn’t the man for the job, PLEASE GO
Very much agreed. Unless we go the rest of the season unbeaten (not all draws) and stay up, showing that this was all down to King’s presence, then he still has to go ASAP. I’d say “thanks for the three points, you’ve had a win to put on your CV, now take a job elsewhere” and get in someone else for Saturday.
Obviously very welcome. Had we not I think that would have it...it's still gonna be difficult as Boston seem to be flying at the right time..I see it as a 4 way battle with them, Maidenhead and Fylde, as I think Wealdstone will pull clear.
N.B there is an interview with Young on BBC Radio London this evening. Don't all rush to tune in!

21 away fans trekking all that way after Saturday, they should be carried on to the pitch on sedan chairs next home game.
That performance last night was no different than all the others while Young has been in charge. The only difference is we didn't concede in the last 5 mins of injury time. Look how many points we lost because of goals after the 85th minute.
Be honest who's arse wasn't pouting at 85 mins ? Another 5 mins they'd have equalised. But I'll take the win. If we can get another 12-13 points this season we'll stay up. I'd imagine Lewis will get the keys to the manor if he keeps us up. I'm sure this season will be a valuable experience for him. I'm as fickle as the rest of you , we want wins.

Having Phippsy back helps us a lot.
Personally if we get Eastman back in his usual position and put Phipps in midfield I think we've got a chance of staying up.

Interesting thoughts on Wealdstone as I would consider Boston the team most nailed on to now stay up, especially after how cut adrift they were at new year with Ebbsfleet... I believe they have 14 points out of the last six games, and are unbeaten which is some record for us to expect them (with games in hand) to suddenly fall apart. I know we were terrible against them recently but Boston didn't look anything like a bottom-four side at our place.RM1Dagger wrote: ↑Wed Mar 19, 2025 9:52 am Obviously very welcome. Unsure if Wealdstone vs Woking next up could potentially drag Woking back down in to some trouble? Let's see... Either way, one of the biggest results we have had in years yesterday, especially when alongside the other games played. Fylde were a last ten collapse away from a decent win too which could have killed us stone dead with another loss at Halifax.
Yeah that's fair. Regardless, we need one of them to fade away. I remember last season Wealdstone were in a similar position with games in hand and only stayed up on the final day I think.Lcbdagger wrote: ↑Wed Mar 19, 2025 4:53 pmInteresting thoughts on Wealdstone as I would consider Boston the team most nailed on to now stay up, especially after how cut adrift they were at new year with Ebbsfleet... There of all places! Massive win, one of many we're going to need. Where would we be without Josh Rees' goals? Huge boost having Phippsy back too, he knows what it means at this club.

Eastman is out for the season so no chance of that happening, won’t see him again in a Daggers shirt is my guess.stanton101 wrote: ↑Wed Mar 19, 2025 4:37 pm Having Phippsy back helps us a lot.

Given our medical staff, it's probably terminal.
