So here we are almost four weeks after this thread was started and still Young hangs on in the belief that he can do the job!
Commentary at Gateshead on Saturday said after 15 minutes that Dagenham looked like they were just “not wanting to get out of there own half” and that’s not what’s needed in this moment of crisis, I’d rather us go down by giving it a bloody good go rather than parking the bus and looking to scared to attack.
I don’t know if Young reads this forum but if he does Pleeeeese do the decent thing and go! Leave it to the players to make the tactical decisions and then I reckon we could just about scrape survival, if you stay then relegation is inevitable.
Dream on mate.
It's up to the hierarchy to sack him not for him to just walk away. In an ideal world he says thanks for giving me the chance to manage, I can't cut it and he leaves. Unfortunately the powers that be gave him a TWO year deal. Now they either honour that deal or sack him and pay him off. They let a forward go over a pittance and got rid of Justham, do you honestly think they're going to pay Young to leave?
They made a huge mistake in giving an inexperienced man a two year deal and now they have to live with it and hope by some miracle we avoid the drop.
Sacking Ben was a disaster, we haven't improved if anything we've got worse and deserve to be relegated. Sadly for us fans we're left to pick up the pieces.
All they're interested in is selling merchandise the match day experience and promoting the club.
Unfortunately they've overlooked one fundamental thing, in order to do those things you have to get things right on the pitch first!
