Very well done Lee great interview. Dan Hall was very open and honest with his answers. A regular interview with the Chairman to explain what is happening at the club rather than a statement that can seem bland and remote, seems a far better way of informing fans and perhaps stop unnecessary inaccurate rumours starting.

A very good interview with excellent questions.

I am glad he admits Ben was sacked in poor fashion.

I still think he's skirting around the Justham thing and I would have liked a much more direct question regarding how he was strongarmed into ultimately departing.

I am also glad he admits the signings haven't been brilliant and that the test of having a SD has to be that the playing situation improves. Let's see how that is dealt with.

I don't buy answers regarding the reconfiguration of the squad mid season. We were obviously heading for a bigger loss with more expensive players and have tried to reduce that loss. I entirely agree we need to be younger and more financially sustainable but the speed with which that has been attempted is irresponsible. I also don't like the continued reference to luck - injury records and not winning football matches can sometimes be luck, but when it continues for weeks, months and years it definitely isn't luck.

The signing of Grego Cox sums the current regime up, a complete waste of time and money, we all knew it but the SD didn’t. Kalambayi was also a risk and is now injured and I’ve not really been impressed with him. Tavares who we let go is winning the title, that was a money saving deal so I’m not buying this bigger budget claim, it probably includes all the extra staff they’ve taken on and the Next Gen players which don’t influence the first team and here we are. They’re playing with fire and I can’t see any firemen for miles.

Good interview Lee. I've just watched it tonight after the hideous home defeat to Boston and I just wonder really whether they'll stick with Lewis Young for much longer. And I wonder really whether they're here for the long haul. I mean he couldn't really say no were gonna piddle off when we get relegated could he. I cannot see Lewis Young lasting if we lose the next 2 as well.

Can trust this lot until they prove they can be trusted. A good interview but unfortunately it was with a poor excuse of a man. God help us and where we will be in the next few years, if not months.

Another interview with Dan Hall which in some way is welcoming but nonetheless, whilst we are struggling in the league it doesn't really matter what he says at the moment. I think, only if we start winning games and looking as though we can avoid the drop can everyone relax.

They’re doing nothing to stop this slide, they need to sell up. Talking about fan experience when you’re getting relegated is dumb, nobody will care or come in the league below. They’re all way out of their depth and the interview sums that up.

It’s not welcoming at all. It’s all rubbish, Young still has his backing.

Young, King and Thompson all have to go. Our club is on life support.

Getting rid of the manager at this stage of the season doesn't seem very logical to me and would be interested what your plan would be?

Simple, hire literally anyone else. 10 games without a win. Apparently Matt Grey who got Sutton promoted applied and we went for Young. I’d beg any of the alleged 1000 applicants to take the job.

Sticking with someone who has picked up 4 points from 30 is even more illogical.

Are you for real? Young is absolutely useless. He is not the man for the job. My plan would be bring someone in that is.

The narrative he's trying to push around Young Vs Strevens is absolute gaslighting.

Under Strevens the results apparently weren't good enough, the cup run masked failure in the league, and Braintree was the final straw.

Yet apparently Young is starting to build a hardworking team that represents Dagenham, performance against Aldershot was a big improvement, done a great job as caretaker, has a compelling vision to turn it around.

It's insulting. The only team he's managed to beat is Ebbsfleet and the second worst side in the division turned up at our place and played us off the pitch last week.

I'm not one for sacking people generally but the situation now is desperate. King has to go immediately. He is the biggest problem by a long chalk and then get in an experienced guy like Gray, or even Still if he is prepared to do it till the end of the season. Thompson will go sooner or later anyway and straight away if new investors or a new takeover ( Goodwin et al) takes place and I doubt if he is the direct architect of the present crisis. Maybe keep Lewis or Connor in some capacity to provide continuity.

It won't happen but it seems to me the most obvious emergency course of action

I don't think the Chairman himself believes what he's saying, he didn't seem to have much conviction.

He kept saying they are all working hard to improve the squad and results but there's little evidence of that.

I don't understand why they aren't concerned about relegation if only for the financial hit.

We're trying to improve the squad that's why we let decent players leave and brought in a GK with about 30 career games in 10 years, a midfielder who can't get in the starting eleven, and some teenagers. Top job Dan.
