Because he brings them in!!! Do you think the Goodwin consortium wanted to keep him? No. That’s why he fought like hell to find someone else. But it’s not just him now, we have a DoF tearing the club apart from the inside. None of those players look like they want to be there. Even his best mate Parsons jumped ship after 60 mins of football. He has to be the first to go.Ally Fraser wrote: ↑Sat Mar 01, 2025 10:45 pmI’ve never understood how successive owners keep him in placeDiggerthedog wrote: ↑Sat Mar 01, 2025 9:50 pm We won’t win another game this season, we’re cooked. Some people just can't or won't let go and Thompson is one of them. I dare say in the past he's had the best interests of the club at heart, but to repeatedly keep making the wrong decisions is sheer bloody mindedness.
After witnessing that today I like a lot of fans am convinced we're going down. There's no guts in this team to fight a relegation battle, we made Boston look like Brazil in the 2nd half, it was embarrassing.
People can take losing, but it's the manner in which you lose that sticks in the neck.
The whole thing is rotten from top to bottom and it's only going one way, DOWN!

Another team better coached than us; we play like a park team and not a very good one.

It is difficult to know where to start with the performance. With the exception maybe of Jones, Francis , Eastman and Rees who at least seem to be trying, as a unit we were second best to a team who were of average ability but who had a game plan and were motivated to get the points. We were out competed in midfield , showed no composure in attack and were vulnerable in defence especially to long balls in the channels. Our tactics were difficult to understand.
As a spectator and a long standing Daggers supporter this was a dismal watch and as bad as I have seen in recent years. Unfortunately this wasn’t a one off, bad day at the office. It is now one win ten for this manager and his team . Whatever he is trying to achieve with this group of players it isn’t working.
I did not agree with Strevens going, it was a gamble and clearly it has has not paid off. The results do not lie. Giving a long contract to Young was a mistake.

Scored an early goal but as soon as they equalised Boston looked so much better than us. The second half was so one sided they could have scored a lot more than the three goals. I had some confidence of staying up before the game but does look very grim now. That was an absolutely awful performance.
Not having a direct pop at another fan, but we are seriously clutching at straws if the good performances yesterday included Eastman and Francis... The first goal was a defending horror show from a super senior and experienced centre back and Francis didn't get the ball at his feet once that I saw without clearing or passing the ball off for a throw to in... Keeper made the fantastic double save but also didn't see more than 2 goal kicks or clearances from him all match stay on the pitch... Have them countless unnecessary throw ones with a guy who caused us mass panic every time he chucked the ball in to the box.Corinthian wrote: ↑Sun Mar 02, 2025 9:05 am It is difficult to know where to start with the performance. The fact our squad depth saw a young striker come off, at 1-1, at home for another centre back in Harrack boggles the mind... What were or tactics at that point when we couldn't get the ball forward or hold on to it in midfield or out wide???
Does anyone know what the cameras in the sieve were for yesterday too? The new Commercial Director was in there with the drum trying to get fans to play it, and then film crews trying to capture “the action” with fans. All the while we’re getting slapped by a team even worse than us? Just goes to further show how clueless these Americans are, club is consistently run like a circus no matter who is in charge it’s sickening.
