Daggers,

We all know that results haven’t been good enough. No one at this club—players, staff, or leadership—accepts losing. Winning is our priority, and we are all working tirelessly to turn these results around.

On the sporting side, we seek to back our manager with players that help us today and allow us to build for the future. We are forming a team that reflects our values: hardworking, relentless, and ambitious to progress. Sometimes that means making difficult decisions to build a competitive team or finding new solutions to gain an edge. We urge patience and support while this movement takes root.

Success in the National League isn’t given—it’s earned—and we are committed to doing what it takes to lead the club to winning ways.

However, the players, the manager, and the staff can’t do it alone. We need your support. In football, momentum is everything, and we must regain ours. We call on your support more than ever now, to breathe confidence into our players. Every voice in the stands, every show of belief, makes a difference. We all want the same thing—to win. And the only way forward is together.

COYD

What a load of patronising nonsense. It’s their mess. Not ours

He's made a statement but really told us nothing. We are in a mess and wanted to be told constructive positive ways of getting through this. This doesn't fill me with any confidence at all.

I’m glad that’s cleared all what’s going on up. :banghead:

Basically, we don’t give a shite what you think, support the club or fcuk off.

All it is, is a load of word salad. But then at least he didn't threaten supporters, like he did in his Christmas message.

The party told you to reject the evidence of your eyes and ears.

What a load of nonsense. The sooner this man is out of our club and takes James King with him, the better. God help us with these idiots here.

Very good to have some transparency. Fair play to him for doing that, top top work Lee if you're still around on this forum

Thought it was a good interview by both participants. Felt the Chairman was honest and transparent enough to concede that Bens departure could have been handled better. Despite some parties negativity towards the owners I felt quite encouraged by what was said. A positive interview.

I thought it was a good solid question and answer session, good for the Chairman to admit the failings around Ben’s departure.

They still make me nervous as they’re happy to sack the manager due to poor results but not the SD whose signings have contributed to our demise. They made a massive mistake in thinking we were safe from relegation and started planning for next season by reducing costs for the rest of this season, LY, JK included here and all should leave if relegation happens. Let’s see, not going well so far and the message was to down tools and our current run is proof of that.

If our budget is bigger than last seasons then it’s been an absolutely horrific return yet only Ben paid the price, very unfair.

1000 applications and Strevens understudy was the best candidate. Strevens sacked for poor results. Youngs results worse

One thing that I found from that interview was the way they look at potential signings. Using Wyscout is fine but surely the top and bottom of any potential transfer is a players injury record, that must be top of the agenda.
We had a luxury player in Balanta, on his day he was a match winner, the trouble was there wasn't many match days in him!
I think they have severely underestimated this league, and by giving an untried untested newcomer like Young the job has shown a degree of naivety. Two years is a long time in football and I think personally a realistic end of season contract and then see how he's done would've been more appropriate. Of course that would only be if the two parties deemed it acceptable, everyone needs security in a job after all. I've nothing against Young and I hope he suceedes but it's proving to be a tough ask.
The national league is a tough league, we've been stuck in it for a while now, I'm just wondering if they have any contingency plans in place if we are relegated.
On the whole it was a decent interview and a relatively good box ticking exercise but as they say the proof is in the pudding.
It's going to be a tough run in. I'm 50/50 on our survival.
