Just noticed he has signed for Arbroath in the Scottish Championship. I hope he likes kippers. Personally I thought he had something about him and would have liked to have kept him.

In the Scottish Championship, which is a dreadful league. You only need to look at some of the players in the Scottish Premiership to realise that the Championship is an awful standard. If Ayo Obileye is good enough to be a consistent starter for a mid table Premiership side then that speaks volumes!

I know someone that was offered a deal in the lower reaches of Scottish prem but decided to stay with the istmian prem side he was already at, said the standard was awful and unlikely to improve him to further his career.

Bird wasn't that bad, he did hit the net a few times, He'd be better than Kendall for sure.
