I think he is doing better than ok, but then I always believed he would.Ron From Rush Green wrote:So who thinks the new boy is doing ok?
How long do you plan to be around this time Ron? You've been sorely missed.

For those of you who were Burnett bashers, you'll have to BURY the hatchet!
Until I can be sure that Barnet has taken in and done all the things I've told him to. It's beginning to work. I tried with Steeley but he wouldn't listen. Wayne's more adaptable and can see sense...Auntie Merge wrote:

What's Davids like to work with? Is he receptive to your advice?

I know each Manager has a different method of playing etc but interesting to see the quality of players that WB has brought in eg Murphy, Hines; I could not imagine them playing for us under the previous incumbent!!

We got on the train at York last night and came across the team. We offered our commiserations on the result as we realy did think we deserved better.
It is the mark of the man that he took time to come and speak to us when the train arrived at Kings Cross. He wanted to thank us for the tremendous support that the team have been shown this season. He thought they were worth at least a draw and Abu should have scored.
We told him that there was not a lot more they could have done everybody put in a supreme effort in dreadful conditions and the coin came down tails when we called heads. The best team lost and sometimes you have to give credit and the defender has done a remarkable block. Obviously we are disappointed with the result as Supporters but we are realistic and know that you don't always get what you deserve.
What struck me was the togetherness of the team and I wonder that when you have young players having a young Manager may not be such a bad thing.
