Big game tomorrow in more ways than one. If we get the win the little run carries on and a visit to Wembley appears on the horizon. That will give the players and supporters a lift and very likely the momentum needed to turn this season from a what might of been to one we remember. The flaws in our team defensively are clear but we are a dangerous team too so a burst of wins is possible. Despite our inconsistency we sit just 5pts off 7th. If we managed 7th most teams would worry about us in a knockout format. COYD!

Hope we do win tomorrow however, we must not take York lightly. They are a club going places with good support and a new stadium. They also play attacking football (check them out on U Tube) and will be a handful.
There is also every chance we will be playing them next term as they have just slipped into the Conf North playoffs.

Season is on the line tomorrow, too much to do for the play offs for me with the games we have left as we would need to beat several of the teams above us and we don’t normally fear well against the better sides since September. York will be bouncing off the walls big support coming with them unbeaten in 9 and won most of those, if the right Dagenham turns up we should still win but we know we have an awful game in us at times.
Looking at what we have coming up with Notts next Saturday we could go above them if we beat Southend and they lose to Stockport Tuesday. I really don’t think we have momentum for a play off run, happy to be proved wrong and it’s the hope that kills you.
