I'd heard it from other sources and that he turned down a move to a northern club as well.

Be a shame if this is true, although it's a great chance for Bloomfield or Romain to step up. Can't imagine Cheeks injury is serious and we then let Hawkins go, think the club have more of a backbone now.

Not sure about all this Hawkins' uncle stuff, but if true then good luck to him. Whack in a sell on clause and all is well. Hope he bangs them in and makes a decent crust too.

As for Cheek, I doubt its too bad. Walked off against Bromley, didn't receive treatment and Maidstone was less than 48 hours after. So makes sense that he would be rested.

Time for Romain/White/Bloomfield to step up and make a name for themselves, however.

If Hawkins gets announced shortly gives us more reason to charge other clubs over the odds for Corey.
