I expect Wayne Burnett would have liked to have had the resources to compete at a different level in the transfer market

Do we think this has any effect on the future of Hawkins at the club? Or will we be shifting formation next season to two strikers?
Also, how many of these players have played professionally before? Not saying their bad signings, but we have seen so many players make the jump to full-time with us and struggle. Hopefully the fact that these are coming from the same league helps, but it's always something worth remembering before we start getting too excited.

I'd say that having two competing is a great idea for the club.

No back line is going to fancy playing against Hawkins and Cheek as a pair either, with pace of Corey just behind picking up anything that drops around them.

Looks good on paper, lets see what happens in the real world.

Yeah it will be interesting to see what formation Still goes with now we have two very good strikers at this level and Ferrier who can play up top too (even though Mick Payne thinks he'll be playing out wide for us) but I can't see us dropping the three in midfield seeing as we've got good depth there and it seems to work well, especially when Robinson and Boucaud are fit. One more creative attacking mid and that should be us done for first team signings this summer, and even that wouldn't be so vital if Howell wasn't constantly injured.

Very pleased with this signing. It could just mean that Whitely being used more as a winger supplying the front two of Cheek and Hawkins. With Feji on the other wing that front four are a proper handful for anyone in this league.
I was optimistic before, but now I think we might just have a chance of winning the league outright, that is of course if we don't have a season like the last with injuries.
Here's hoping.

Well that`s another one in the bag are there to be any more, but the good thing about all the signings is they are two year deals which is good for the club.

Great signings so far but many teams are in for the title, Wrexham have signed some very good players already. Teams coming down and up have decent budgets also.

Can see a similar postion to last year, we only need 7th right

I think our transfer dealings are finished as far as attacking players are concerned. A lot of mention for how Whitely, Hawkins, Ferrier, Cheek and Fey all fit in, plus you've got Sparkes to add to that equation.

Can only potentially image one last defender or defensive-minded midfielder if anything.

I also wish to mention that it's probably no surprise we're getting the majority, if not all, of our dealings dealt with before the trip to Portugal. Makes sense all round.

They never really returned to the artistic heights of the Cheeky Song, did they? Maybe that one being engaged to Lembit Opik took away the creative hunger? Who knows?
