Plenty of managers would have done that, probably all who ever get relegated and some who don't.You're being economical/misleading with the figures though,he's took points from 7 of those games.John Still took 1 point from 54 was it ?? Much much worse.Mourinho's only won 3 out of the last 10,it happens to the best as well.dagger4eva wrote:Name me another manager who could win 1 in 15 games, with the last being a humiliating trouncing against the only club with a worse budget (substantially so too) than us - and yet not be under the remotest bit of pressure of being fired?

THAT run in 2011/12 WAS bad - male no mistake but after a quick google, the results of it are as follows:SUSSEX DAGGER wrote:John Still 2011-2012dagger4eva wrote:Name me another manager who could win 1 in 15 games, with the last being a humiliating trouncing against the only club with a worse budget (substantially so too) than us - and yet not be under the remotest bit of pressure of being fired?
I dont see it as threatening or bullying in the slightest, its just wanting a man who currently has his employers (our club) over a bleedin' barrell.
I also dont have a short enough memory to forget pre season when the same, said man was fart arsing about signing his new contract offer. If only there had of been a world shortage of pens!!
From our game against Torquay on 27th Aug to the game against Burton on 17th Dec we played 17 - won 1 & drew 2. So 5 points from 51.
Fortunately we'd already amassed 3 wins & 9 points beforehand from the opening 4 games.
By my reckoning, we therefore have to obtain 5 points from our next 5 games just to match the clubs worst ever opening 21 games. Trouble is, I dont see where another 5 points are coming from for the rest of the season, let alone the next month...
