Boys played well tonight , moved the ball around very well and played some good stuff.
Them scoring with their one and only effort in the first half which was avoidable as normal put us on the back foot but we did not hide and fully deserved the equaliser.
At 2-1 they had to come at us and the next goal could have gone in at either end.
The Young Lad Pask is going to be a hell of a player and we will hopefully keep him because having a Centre back who is so good on the ball has to be an asset.
Big shout to Mark Cousins cant be easy having to come into the game that late and made a very good save to
protect the point. Also welcome back Josh you showed in those 10 minutes what it is all about and just what we have been crying out for.
Dissappointed we did not get more as we were in my opinion the better team throughout an opinion shared by a number of York fans i spoke to after the game.
Big big improvement in my eyes none the less
THAT WAS BETTER
We were much the better team for large parts of that. It was my first game this season and I was pleasantly surprised at how good we looked. Passed it around well and created a few good chances. Looked shaky at the back but I'm struggling to think of a save O'Brien had to make.
If we continue to play like that, we'll stay up easily.
Disclaimer: I know this is one game and I'm hardly the best person to gauge our season but I can only comment on what I've seen.

Game 3 of the season for me, which I very much enjoyed I have to say.
The defence looked alright, Hoyte solid, Nyron meh, Pask is class, Academy of Football and all he bought the ball out of defence about 3 times tonight like David Luiz. Passley was busy, quick, and hungry, just what you need from a mode full back. Shame about the boots though.
Midfield, Hemmings was his usual self, one of our better players I must say. Chambers made some decent runs. Sutherland tidied up well, he's one to keep. Kane played on the Right and I thought put in a shift - his long passing and vision need a bit of work, and he makes too many fouls, but he's learning and I thought he was fine tonight.
Bouchard is a confusing one as the game seems to pass him by - I like how he comes and gets it from the centre backs but he can go 10 minutes without doing anything at all; I like him In the squad but not as captain for me.
What is there left to say about Jamie? He is my hero, my idol, my life. That ball for the first goal was absolutely stunning, and his composure for the second was superb. Every time he gets the ball I get excited, something that's only really happened with Benno and occasionally Rhys. He is a credit to himself and our club and we would be lost without him.
Good game, thought York were ok but nothing special, nice to see Femi, nice ground, nice town, well done to the 65 and I have to say I'm pretty confident of survival now. Up the Daggers!
