This isn't a dig; but did the events after the game as you've described make any difference in your opinions of Wayne?

Fingers crossed for Saturday.

No matter what's going on, or how bad the feeling is around the place; I still always hope come 5p.m we'll have picked up 3 points.
No worries, answer to your question; not really. He's a passionate guy who wears his heart on his sleeve a lot like myself, he is adamant he was not aggressive in his language and I'm sure his reaction was not unprovoked. Looking back on it, I'm sure he would reacted differently to avoid any bad press he has received but I'd much rather a passionate guy who cares about the club as oppose to someone where it's just "another job". Be nice if Wayne and the supporter in question could sit down and sort out their differences in a civilised manner at some point, an opportunity that is very much a possibility given the size of the club.
Don't be naive Billy, because I did try and get a meeting via Dave the Plumber, both Wayne and Thommo refused...

Dave came back to me and apologised on behalf of the club, but their was nothing more he could do, but maybe he would ask them at a later time.... This was at the back end of last season

With idiots like that, they are unable to listen to the fans views, only their own, yet when they tell bare face lies in meetings, that's all fine...

... And you wonder why there is animosity between the management and fans

Results wise we did, but entertainment wise I can't say I ever found that time to be as utterly boring as I have large parts of the last two and a bit seasons..
It was dire Adrian, even if I accept fully that John Still was a better manager of men, that constant hoof into touch and Tomlin,Baz Savage and totally past it Mark Arber was an awful spectacle. Then the excuses wheeled out game after game.I've not felt like that since Still left.Came close a few times I grant you but its not worse yet.
Bas Savage wasn't with us after League 1.
Burnett's been spewing out excuses for over a year, at least Still could be consistent with them in the same interview unlike Burnett. At no point during the season after League 1 did I consider not having a season ticket the following season. I was seriously questioning why I had one lats season well before Christmas and there was no way I was bothering this season.
That dire season we'd won 4 games by this point.

I'm glad you dont have a say.You seem to know less than the people running things now. But you have a opinion. Try letting other people have theres.

I havent stopped anyone having an opinion,I've just partially disagreed with yours.if you look closely mine dosent differ much from the majority anyway.I don't think theres anyone out there right now who'd do any better. Same problems different manager is all you'll get.No sensible alternatives have been put up by anyone either, who's your favourite to replace him ? I wont hold my breathe waiting for the answer so take your time. The vast majority just want "someone else" for the sake of it it seems.

As always Arnu the voice of reason , however there has been one or two mentioned as I said elsewhere.

They include a bloke who was at Braintree but is partial to the sauce, hardly fair to ask him if he is trying to stay on the wagon.

A nervous wreck who helped Torquay on their way to relegation before it all got to much. Think his Doctors would be alarmed as me if he got offered the gig.

A bloke who was so stupid that he got sacked over a bet, a bet that if landed would have won him the price of a round of drinks, by all accounts that was not even successful. That Clown rolled up here yesterday for the 2nd time in six months and to my recollection mustered one effort on our goal in the two games , to think these people think we are boring to watch, Jesus please preserve me.

There has also been one or two others names mentioned who are as likely to get job offers elsewhere to Manage a Professional Football Team as I am to get the call to be the next Pope.

Add in the ones the would not do the job for a daily rate that we are going to offer them let alone a week and you remember the old adage " It is a foolish man that cuts of his leg in order to feed himself"
