Would have rather had a trip to the coast next season. Can Wycombe recover from this? That's gonna hurt, felt they deserved it more from what they have achieved over the season. Plus I quite like Gareth Ainsworth, proper down to earth bloke.

Fair play... fought to the proverbial death and had a top class keeper in the shootout...

Wycombe deserved to lose.Sitting on their lead and refusing to attack. You just new the pikeys would equalise and then nick it.If they want to stay up Southend need to strengthen in a number of areas or they'll be straight back down.Poor old Sam Saunders, must be a record for an injury about 5 seconds was it ??

Wycombe should have been relegated last season after playing an illegible player, but got away with it ... Although Bristol Rovers did their best in appealing against relegation.
Yesterday, wycombe got their come uppance in losing it from the claws of a win

Good point. We have lost Cheltenham, Tranmere, Burton, Bury, Shrewsbury and Southend. So about 2500 from that lot. Reckon Barnet, Bristol, Orient, Crawley, Notts and Yeovil will amount to about 3000 we could be up on that front.

Orient will easily cover what's lost by Southend, as Digger has said with Barnet, Crawley and Rovers they *should* all manage 400+ at least you'd imagine, maybe a bit of a push with Crawley but Rovers will bring a fair chunk to cover that as well anyway.

Besides, I'm already planning for our guaranteed JPT against Southend next season.

They may struggle next seson, but if they are struggling financially their goalkeeper will be worth a mint... top quality whatever level he is in

I would have liked Southend to have stayed with us, I do look forward to their games, yet with Orient coming down that should make up for it.
