Surprised, not in the least, disappointed? A little. As a lot of people said though he'd be hard pressed to break into a league 1 team in midfield, his best bet is to rock up at a club with promotion prospects and play his way up a league.

Would also be very disappointed if he went to Luton, he's worthy of a League One club.

Would never get in a league one midfield but as a right back yes, the reason he is staying in this league. He will probably double his wages so no surprise.
