46924 over 23 home league games is an average of 2040.17
Quite amazed by that. Its felt quite empty at a number of games this season.
Only Southend filled the TBS stand completely with an overspill into the sieve with 1455.
Only more than half filled by Wycombe.......788
Portsmouth.....885
Luton............875
Wimbledon.....819
Cambridge......770
and (Orient in the JPT 982)
Lowest away support Accy ( 91 was it Saturday ?)
With Barnet, colchester,Orient all looking like joining us next season there is scope to fill the TbS again maybe with Orient.
Attendance averages.

There's been more than 2000 at a fair few games this year to be fair. Southend attendance was 3000 wasn't it? So the lower attendances of about 1600/1700 would be hugely helped by that big Southend attendance. Pushing our attendance average quite highARNU wrote:46924 over 23 home league games is an average of 2040.17

Give that bloody computer a kick Thommo we must have lost over 20 k this year with away support surely being a lot higher if the PORTSMOUTH,LUTON and PLYMOUTH had not been mid-week games

Boxing Day aside we've been fairly unlikely with the way the fixtures came out this season. Not at home on the opening or final day of the season which you imagine has an effect on the gate, albeit small and as Sussex said a lot of our big hitting home gates on a Tuesday which obviously puts them down.
Still, averaging over 2000 isn't bad even with the reduced season tickets. Must be our highest average since the L1 season?

500 plus were freebies to all the youth teams and their parents.Lcbdagger wrote:Amazed we had a crowd of 2000+ at the weekend... felt like half that standing in the Sieve and very small Away crowd... maybe it was the extra Home fans in the TBS
That makes sense... then I'm sticking with my original 1600 prediction and claiming it as a moral victoryDiggerthedog wrote:500 plus were freebies to all the youth teams and their parents.Lcbdagger wrote:Amazed we had a crowd of 2000+ at the weekend... felt like half that standing in the Sieve and very small Away crowd... maybe it was the extra Home fans in the TBS

Was on a bored train journey so worked our average home support minus away fans was 1,590 and our average away support with an away game to go was 145, can a more clever mathematician work out what percentage of our home support travel away?
It's a game of opinions. @BillyCove94
