Re: Injuries
I don’t want to ruin expectations but can you really see Carroll playing a competitive game for us? I’m not holding my breath!
Any player who seriously wants to play wouldn’t be taking a vacation during the season when he could be working on his fitness while protecting the affected injury.

Re: Hemel Hempstead Preview
Only reason why I’m going today is because my first ever Daggers game was against Hemel Hempstead in the Athenian League way back in the very early 70’s, as I recall it was 1-1. As a kid I spent most of the game running around on the mound at the Pondfield road end, how things have changed ...

Re: How long has Bradbury got?
I’m of the opinion that Bradbury is not good enough, pre season was worrying, he can blame recruitment, injuries etc but at the end of the day he’s got players who should be good enough to beat teams like we played today, no disrespect to Hampton n Richmond but we should have been looking at a win ...

Re: Hampton and Richmond FC Away
What is needed is a club statement from the supposed “new owners” who claim to understand the frustrations we felt last season when we were relegated, if they are still on the scene I can only suggest that they take a moment to publicly face up to the fact that we are looking at back to back ...

Re: Hampton and Richmond FC Away
Beaten by another part time team! What a feckin joke this season is turning into, Monday is going to be solely a trip for some twerk n jerk. So pleased that I didn’t bother with a season ticket.

Re: The removing of the blackout how would it affect Dagenham?
I Personally think that if sky get their way on this it will destroy lower league football, sky and TNT currently have live football on every day of the week including Saturday evenings, they have already rewritten kick off times for the FA cup final and unfortunately in no time it has become “the ...

Re: New season 1st game
So it turned out just as I had feared, uncompetitive, outfought, outplayed, second to almost every ball (when we competed for it) and lost to a very average team. We could have played until 10 tonight and not scored!

Re: New season 1st game
The thing we need today is a statement win, a performance that says to the opposition unlike the second half of last season under Young you haven’t just got to just put your boots on to win, a performance that says “hey your not going to **** us over on our own turf” a performance that shows us the ...

New season 1st game
What are the thoughts on today’s match, our first at this level for over 25 years (stand to be corrected)?
Personally after a somewhat disastrous pre season I can’t see us achieving much more than mid table, hopefully I’m wrong but friendly results haven’t filled me with any confidence.
