Re: New Owners Announced
Anyone interested in looking to invest in football clubs are certainly not doing it to make money and even more so in our case as we don't own the ground.
Looking forward to finding out more in the coming weeks.
Then “investing” isn’t the correct term is it? It’s more of purchasing an ...

Re: New Owners Announced
All wishful thinking in my opinion,
Why would Mr Fernandez give us more than a passing thought?
An astute businessman like him would normally assess the club and its assets and then walk away, but while there is a straw to clutch we can only hope.

Re: New Owners Announced
My comments may not be positive and with good reason, the last two owners have been established sports owners with many years of experience running football and other professional sports and they couldn’t run the club properly, we have just seen a completely new company formed with very little ...

Re: New Owners Announced
Due diligence
That would be a first, as said by DTD I'm thinking this is just another smokescreen to Pacify the undercurrent of supporters anxiety regarding the club’s future, as I’ve said before I hope to be proven wrong but this whole situation stinks

Re: New Owners Announced
I just read this announcement on the club website, Im pleased that finally everything is out in the open and resolved but on the other hand "Happy Fan Group" sounds like an american sitcom!
Then again we have behaved like a sitcom for the last couple of years since club underdog took over, I really ...

Re: Bath City (h)
What a underwhelming display of football we experienced today, once again a professional team outworked and almost undone at times by a group of plumbers, gas fitters and van drivers not helped by a referee who astoundingly didn’t send off Baths number 3 Greenslade for openly kicking a player on the ...

Re: Bath City (h)
Our main issue today is between the sticks, haven’t seen anything on a loan signing yet, if nightingale is in goal Im not feeling too confident on a positive result, don’t get me wrong I sincerely hope he has a blinder but I doubt it

Re: Chippenham Town (h)
Fortunate result today, although we looked the better side in the first half they created as many chances as us and could have ended the half 2 up, the sending off was a tad harsh, I thought if that red was against us the crowd would be fuming! although if I saw it again I could change my opinion ...

I was considering going this evening just to give Phipps a cheer as I regarded him as a true dagger, hearing he’s out injured Im not going to brave the wind rain and cold, recent home form tells me tonight isn’t going to be a spectacle.

Re: January poll: Sack Bradbury?
Is it really worth doing these polls? Unfortunately the amount of people commenting on this chat has dropped so much that the results of this poll are just going to make the club management laugh!

Re: Dover(h)
As previously said the recruiting since we were relegated from league 2 has been abysmal, a number of players on their way out looking for one last payday and dragging down the mood in the dressing room, this has been highlighted by some decent players who were forced out of the club at the end of ...

Just playing devils advocate, less chance of west spam staying up than a merger or new owners :)

Re: Club updates /Anniversaries
The best days of the club are but a distant memory, the thought of there being new owners are just fantasy, we are sinking faster than the Titanic.. we are rudderless in the boardroom as well as the dressing room, nothing but a complete clear out of the club is going to change anything, attendance ...

Re: Salisbury (h)
Yesterday’s result was hard to take, after we played extremely well in the first half but unfortunately we did not have the ability to put one of the many chances away, after the red card we were always going to be on the defensive but the problem is that we are lacking in ability there as well ...
