Re: Finishing the season

Season over I think with that announcement. Don’t see how the season can ever be finished now.

Re: Coronavirus

Look.at the Health and Safety at Work Act . Basically Players have a legal right to remain in a Place of safety and not be forced to expose themselves to Danger. Footballers have the same legal right as any other workers and for all we know there may have been one or more players who decided to exe...

I get all what your both saying about life is more important I just acknowledged that, of course I do. jus don’t understand the way the games was postponed when it was on and off...

Re: Coronavirus

You do realise this is a football forum? I’m talking from a football point of view, the club posted about Matchday at 10am, at which point I decided to leave my house, yet an hour later agreed to cancel it when I was well on my way in central London, it’s bollocks and could have all been avoided. Of...

Re: Coronavirus

I was under the impression that Woking called off the game after Barnet, whom they played on Tuesday, had a number of staff self isolating. Hence why it is called off, to curtail the spread further. The FA will need to step up, offer support and practical advice to the club's and their employees, p...

Re: Coronavirus

From The Guardian "Steve Thompson, managing director of Dagenham and Redbridge who play in the National League, said the outlook was bleak for smaller clubs. “Potentially some are not going to survive this,” Thompson said. “We’ve got a large social facility with two function rooms, and lots of club...

Re: Coronavirus

Don’t think they will cancel the league, they’ll finish it at some point as we can’t all stay indoors for months or the world will stop. Cases won’t be as bad as Italy as we aren’t stupid enough to go around kissing each other whilst a virus is active. My firm announced all European office are close...

Re: National League meeting

Totally agree with what your saying, it’s down to the general public being responsible for their own actions. If you’re sick stay indoors, unfortunately there are many irresponsible people out there who won’t take notice and will pass it on. Just over 3000 deaths in China to date not sure we will ge...

Re: National League meeting

Working won’t call it off, they’re part time and only pay there players for 40 weeks a year so in the best interests to get the game played to finish the season ASAP.

If your making people go to work, shops, Schools etc makes no sense to call off a game with 1500 in attendance.

Re: National League meeting

Peter Freund is furious: Every major sports league across the globe has postponed their seasons! @TheVanaramaNL must do the same or be known as the most tone deaf and foolish organization in exisitence. I will not support a decision to put our players, staff or supporters in harms way. Period @Dag_R...

ESC Final Tickets

Purchase through Col U https://tickets.colchesterunited.net/We ... enues.aspx

No cash on turnstiles at this stadium so would recommend purchasing and printing at home, last we went there it was a shambles. Car parking tickets almost gone!
