Bradbury Out? Poll
It was Bradbury voting although he'd probably have gone with sack immediatelyLcbdagger wrote: Sun Aug 31, 2025 7:54 am The one person who suggested he is doing a great job is either trolling the page or works for the club.

Bradbury is clearly struggling but surely Steve Thompson must at some point take responsibility for what has been a steady decline for over 15 years now. The decline looks set to continue as he dines out on the carvery. At some point those carveries will need to end when there is nobody watching in the Essex senior.

I don't even know who owns us now. According to Companies House the Directors are still the Yanks plus Thommo. Daniel Hall has resigned but Rizatta, Freund, Bjelde, Harris and Dave the Plumber are still active. No sign of Anwar Uddin, Andy Carroll or any Arabic type. So this means we are breaking CH rules or the takeover hasn't gone through in which case where is the communication? The club is in total freefall and nobody on the Board seems to care. But on the plus side there is an overpriced Caribbean food stand where they manage to serve about 3 people an hour. So I guess we should be grateful......

I appreciate that we've had a major turnover of staff / players this summer and yes it will / may take time for them to gel together and learn the ways of eachother.
However, having said that, what we have been served up since the start of the season is simply sub standard. There has been some sings of hope yet the same old issues seem to be plaguing us again and again , lack of concentration , injuries and off the usual off the pitch nonsense that has plagued for years.
Give Bradbury till the new year ( I'll avoid saying Christmas, as we tried that once, didn't work too well eh? ?) yet if our form continues to dip , and we find ourselves in the relegation zone, then simply put , action needs to be taken.

How do we get rid of Thommo if he owns enough of a share of the club to be listed as a director. Are we expecting the other directors to gang up on him and force him out? Can that be done without a buyout of his share of the club?RampantDuke wrote: Sun Aug 31, 2025 8:48 pm I don't even know who owns us now. I am so tired of the heat and humidity of the summers in the southeastern USA.
Spot on Corinthian let's have a Steve Thompson out poll. I for one agree that he should go!Corinthian wrote: Sat Aug 30, 2025 10:47 pm So since 2018 (post John Still) we have had 5 permanent and 2 caretaker managers and we are now in the National South. The longest serving was Daryl Mcmahon. - 3 years . If the exec team reacted to this poll and sacked Bradbury we would 6 managers in 7 years and possibly another caretaker manager. In the same time D&R have had 3 ownership groups and the near miss of Tamplin. I don’t know Steve Thompson or have a view about him as person and neither do I have any insight the internal politics but he must take responsibility . Nevermind the revolving door of managers, I have no confidence that a changing Bradbury would make any difference . ST should go.

You can be a named Director in the UK without having a share in the business. If Thommo has a holding, I suspect it will be minimal compared to Club Underdog or previously Freund. The bottom line is that according to Companies House we are still owned by the clowns at Club Underdog.McLeansvilleAppFan wrote: Mon Sep 01, 2025 3:16 pmHow do we get rid of Thommo if he owns enough of a share of the club to be listed as a director.
