Very, very much this.
I've said before that I'd rather see us be entertaining and be relegated than be boring and win the league.

I found the season we were relegated from the Conference to be far more entertaining than I did the season that has just finished.

To be honest I reckon you's have just got older and more miserable, rather than the standard of football decreasing.

Not the vast majority of the last few seasons.
I don't think it can really be described, you either feel entertained or you don't.

Older, yes. More miserable - not really.

The standard of football isn't relevant. It's the standard of entertainment that is relevant.

Getting thumped 9-0 by Hereford was entertaining. Games in the Ryman League and ESC have been entertaining. But the standard of football wasn't great.

I know there are some on here that would prefer those of us that don't enjoy everything that has happened over the last few seasons to not express our views, and to be honest it's likely I won't have much in the way of a view to express going forward.

So if daggers were beaten first game of the season 9-0, that would be enough 'entertainment' for you?

Or I've read what you said incorrectly

Adrian does have a point. We can hardly boo and jeer Burnett for all his home defeats, want him gone for most of the season and now say we were entertained.Come on,it was shite for a long while and certainly not entertaining.

Let's be honest this being entertained is a bit of a myth. Have you watched much league two football. It's not great. And as for the conference that's poor too I wouldn't like to know the viewing figures.
Premiership if you take away the elite doesn't exactly inspire and is often only watchable when something is on the game other than the three points.
Our team around 2000 yes was great to watch but we had a good team enjoying a period which some clubs have.
I am reasonably entertained lately and pretty much get what I expect at this level

I've been very entertained in some of our recent games. I've also been bored by some. I think it is fair to say that we've been pretty boring for a lot of the last couple of seasons though.

I'd challenge anyone to say that watching the Daggers at home for most of 2014 was anything more than a chore most of the time.

Even since the turn of the year it wasn't great until we were looking like gettiing safe.

This whole debate depends on what you find entertaining. I happen to find winning games and scoring goals quite entertaining. We were the joint 9th highest scoring team in the division and won 17 games which was bettered by 10 other teams in the league. Not the worst value for entertainment by a long stretch. Plus, watching the 2nd top scorer in the league hasn't been half bad to watch. For those claiming to be bored by this season, explain to me what factors would make us more entertaining?

What did you vote for in the December goal of the month?

Nice to see you referred to the month where we put in 3 under par performances. Of course you wouldn't mention March (9 goals, 4 wins) or April (11 goals, 3 wins). Proper boring months them aye?
