Totally forgot about the game..

As appeaking as sitting/standing in sub zero temperatures watching our 3 stooges scrape us a win against Concord in the ESC - I think I'll just stay at home in the warm and watch Scousers v Chelsea.

It may just be the ESC but surely at the 1/4 stage we should look to go on an win it

Could breed confidence in the team and turn around our league form

If Concord play most of their first choice side and we play a side of fringe players and so on, then we will probably lose. You could argue if they play a first choice side and we play ours we will probably lose!!!

They are having a pretty good season although have slipped up a little in past few weeks. They took Mansfield's first choice side to a reply and trounced a much changed Barnet side 6-1 in the Trophy!!!

They are managed by a form Dagger (of sorts) Danny Cowley. Cowley played for the reserves back between about 1996 and 1998. He was a Youth Team player at Hornchurch at the time, who had a godo side, but played reserve team for Dagenham. He was in the first team squad for a couple of games during the Trophy run of 1997 when Sir Ted rested several players for the League games (at Bromley for instance).

So see what you think tonight?? Local lad, Daggers connection, side going well (Concord have come long way in last 10 years). He will want to put on a good show I would imagine. I am going for a 1-2 (hope I am wrong as would be nice to win this one Year!!).
its all good

It's appeared on the website now
I guess some of the first team guys returning from long term absence will get a run out
One or two promising youth team players may feature too
The game against Waltham Abbey in the last round was open & entertaining but on another freezing night similar to what's in prospect for tonight
