A lot of trialist playing yesterday, but the guy who I thought did look good was No 31 the left sided defender. Does anybody know anything about any of the players on trial, particularly this defender?

This guy was playing a number 17 out wide for the first 60 odd minutes... most recently in the Scottish Championship but didn't pay much last season.

Agree that the left back was great... someone yesterday suggested one of the trialists was an American, but no details on who.

Lucas Diaz is the American trialist. Hardly anything about him online. Doesn't appear to have played at any sort of professional level.

Any idea where he played yesterday, or what number?

No sorry I didn't go to the game yesterday. I believe he's naturally a number ten.

Is the American a Canadian per chance. Spelling is different but the age would be correct.

Would it be easier for a Canadian to play in England than an American? I thought Brexit changed the rules on where players can come from and play in England.

And I found this as well.

I am so tired of the heat and humidity of the summers in the southeastern USA.
