We were all in the beer tent at Forest Green Rovers for the second leg of the playoff semi finals.

Forest Green went on and won at Wembley.

I’m a great believer of 7 year cycles so next season is OUR season.


(It was also the last game that we saw Ebeneezer Scrooge RIP)

Remember both games so well, first at our place where we all know thats where we messed up big time and then going over to the Cotswolds which seemed at the time one of the remotest places to view a game on that beutifull warm Sunday. I remember we had Maggie Drew doing a big headline in the Non League Paper that day how basically Daggers were so confident for a Final place and of course even though fantastic support that day and a beer tent mobbed by us we caved into old Demon Christian Doidge, who I thought for us was a decent gem in pretty dreadful times! Crazily enough he's just gone back to Super Vinces Greens from Scotland he's done a few clubs now.

Terrible ground in the arse of nowhere and shit food if your not a vegan.
Apart from that it's a lovely place!

The first and last time I've ever got the supporters coach. We were awful and then took about three days to get home with the traffic, plus air con failed on the coach - a day to forget!
