So we’re in the hat for this afternoon’s FA CUP 4th qualifying round draw... after the recent takeover, I think our new American owners would love nothing more than a good cup run, bit of exsposure & positive P.R.
Personally I’m hoping that we draw anybody except anyone from our own division, a lower league side is obviously the best bet to give us any hope of getting through to the 1st round proper.
Anybody hoping for a particular fixture/draw? New ground to visit etc?

Away at Worthing or Weston Super Mare will do for me. Weather is still mild for a weekend away before winter arrives.

Rubbish draw and more than likely whimpering out of the competition at the first hurdle, just like we did in those 2 lethargic cup showings against Orient last season

Granted it's not the most lucrative of ties and, like most people, I'm not exactly relishing a second trip to Boreham Wood in the space of three months.
BUT...ultimately we're against a team in our league, and one that our thrown-together bunch of teenagers only narrowly lost to on the opening game of the season no less. We have a better squad than we did on that sunny afternoon in Hertfordshire and the game will be a good distraction for us. The pressure will be off - who knows what'll happen. Hopefully we can bring quite a few down there as always.

Prices are a joke for this game. £18 in advance or £20 on the day for a shitty terrace.

I suppose now we know how away fans feel at our ground. But then again at least we give them a seat.

If it is as per the League game, they give us a whole end and half of the stand along teh far side of the ground so you can sit if you feel the need.
