Just come up on Twitter. Shame, thought he had real potential. Good luck Joe.
No great lost to be honest, if JS rated him that much he wouldn’t have been on loan at Hendon whilst the 1st team struggles to score for toffee...
I was more concerned Corey was going to be sold at the 11th hour with no time to bring in reinforcements..

Someone on Twitter who appears to be by no means an official source, albeit did seem to know about this transfer before anyone else, is claiming the fee is £15k.
I would see this as fairly disappointing given he's on a relatively new 3-year deal, however, that's quite a bit of wages. Given all the Glyn talk recently... one can only speculate if that was now a 3-year deal we could no longer guarantee to fund?

A shame as he had a lot of potential, but if someone is willing to pay money for him and he gets them opportunity to move to a club at a higher level it's a pretty easy decision.
Not sure what a 19 year old forward would do to solve our main issues of giving away soft goals and having a pretty much non-existent midfield.

Sold only because we owe them money for Lokko and with Glyn jumping ship it's an easy solution to a football creditor.

Let get this clear, he was one for the future, if we did not need the money, he would have not been sold!
Bet John Still is pissed off, if I heard this right we were told we don't need to sell, unless a really good offer comes in.

Taken from the Stevenage Website:
"Finally, there is always one last twist and that presented itself when we heard that Dagenham were hoping to do some business before the window closed.
"We had always liked Joe White in their Academy – he is a big lad for 19, a throwback to the old number 9’s.
"He had been at Daggers for five years and we had tried on several occasions to buy him. This time we made an immediate cash offer – using the balance of the money from Lincoln - late in the evening, which was accepted and we secured him for 2.5 years.
“He has got to learn his trade but there will be nobody better to learn from than Alex Revell. This deal also gave us the opportunity to recall Kevin Lokko to integrate into the squad on a daily basis ready for next season, after spending the first half of the season on loan at Daggers.

Hang on... so we had to sell one of our youngsters to get Stevenage to take Lokko back? :eh:Sagres wrote:Taken from the Stevenage Website:

My guess is that Lokko was actually our player to sign end of the season but have made it clear we can no longer afford him ,so they recall him and we have to Give White also as part of the deal for any money we owe due to this scenario.Lcbdagger wrote:Hang on... so we had to sell one of our youngsters to get Stevenage to take Lokko back? :eh:Sagres wrote:Taken from the Stevenage Website:
