Now that John Still has been reinstated(no, I don't agree with the 18 month contract)
Which players would you like to see return to Viccy Road?
My personal choices would be Scott Doe, Danny Green & Luke Wilkinson
What players will be back?????

For the love of God Doey get your arse back here lively, numb nuts has left now! And if you could persuade your mate Luke to come as well I'd be very happy. Also if there's any half decent defenders where you are they're most welcome.
Why would anyone assume that because JS has returned, ex Daggers players will follow. 1. We are deep in the shit. 2. They are under contract to other clubs. 3. We can't match wages being paid elsewhere.
What we need is for John to weave his magic, bring in some more hungry players, dump some of the loan signings and bring back the old daggers spirit.

We have some of the components here all ready to be a proper Still team that we all used to love watching. One or two smart additions, or even utilising what we have and we'll be grand (he says).

Would also thought that a winger who has all you expect from a winger will not be coming here, all we can hope to attract is not very good or consistent wingers of which we currently have in. Well I'd like to see him work his magic on the players we already have.Afterall that's what he does polishes up a turd or two turns them to gems. The players we have are all good players on their day.I have to accept that there was a breakdown between them and Wayne. If you were at Stevenage the other day you couldn't really criticise any of them.Just a bit of organisation and belief and who knows I might get my 14th spot afterall.
Will we be lumping it or passing would be interesting to see.

To that last line Arnu, I believe that will be dependant on our opponents, if they have a superior midfield JS will do as he always does, cut the midfield out and lump it over the top!ARNU wrote:Well I'd like to see him work his magic on the players we already have.Afterall that's what he does polishes up a turd or two turns them to gems. The players we have are all good players on their day.I have to accept that there was a breakdown between them and Wayne. If you were at Stevenage the other day you couldn't really criticise any of them.Just a bit of organisation and belief and who knows I might get my 14th spot afterall.

We can dream though can't we. I think if Hemmings got a bit if confidence he could be a good winger. Not to Green's standard but he has potential.SUSSEX DAGGER wrote:Would also thought that a winger who has all you expect from a winger will not be coming here, all we can hope to attract is not very good or consistent wingers of which we currently have in.
