The club wanted him gone in December as they refused to give him his extra year as per his contract this obviously caused issues, it’s all blown up again this week for whatever reason and now he’s gone. Sad way for it too end, it didn’t have to be like this but the club are run by ******** animals who have no care for anyone, James King is a parasite who we need gone sharpish.

Great servant to the club, up there with Robbo imo. But their was obviously something going on in the background and this was definitely effecting his game.
Good luck to him whatever he does.

Who's going in goal, maybe Lewis will put one of our strikers in there what with his love for playing everyone out of position.
Bollix to Shampoo, it's real poo we want !

Odds on him following Inih, Vincent and Junior to Woking since Todd Johnson and the consortium took over?? They are pulling out all the stops to keep themselves up.

Can Phipps play in goal? :innocent:

...but I thought it was all just unsubstantiated rumours? That's what we've been told repeatedly both on here and by our board?!

Shows many people, both inside and outside the club, have no clue whatsoever. This club is only heading in one direction. Could add a lot more but I won't as my rant will take me all afternoon to write.

It is not often I can go to a message board and then have nothing to say. I often don't type things out but I am thinking the thoughts out in my head. But here. I am truly lost for words and just feel a sense of dread now.
I am so tired of the heat and humidity of the summers in the southeastern USA.

In all fairness El is not the goalkeeper he once was, so it's probably for the best and seeing that he was probably the highest wage earner it was inevitable this would happen.
I can understand if the money we save is put to good use by recruiting seasoned pros but once again we have gone for an unproven youngster whose hardly played and a cheaper option at that. I wish the kid Well and hope he turns in to a fine keeper, but you have to ask the question, why?
I'd love to know just what these owners intentions really are as they seem to stumble from one calamity in to another on a regular basis.
Personally I think they should stick to their Xbox and recruit a real life human who knows what to do.

An embarrassing end to this saga from the club's perspective.

Elliott's form has not been good this season but it is irrelevant, he is the captain, he has given us 9 years of service, is loved by the fans, and is a great ambassador for the club.

If we would like to part ways for football reasons then it should be handled with class and respect. Unfortunately these seem to be foreign concepts to those running the club.

They've tried to back him into a corner on the contract extension, issued a very cynical statement at Christmas that carefully avoided the actual issue, and now escalated the situation such that we've made a panic signing to cover the gap. Absolute shambles.

As I understand it there are issues outside of the club per se that have affected Justham and much as I've admired him over the years I think it likely he would have been dropped this Saturday anyway after a performance on Tuesday that was both distracted and inept.
His replacement - and on what basis I wonder did we find him?- is a cause of some hilarity on behalf of Doncaster fans that we have paid a fee for him. He's 26 been third choice there for a long time and has been loaned out more than a library book. I hope I'm wrong and hope he comes good but the history and omens aren't encouraging. We just have well gone with Strivovic or gambled with Harvey.

We have had so many transfer in and outs lately and tomorrow will likely see a group of strangers trying to get to know one another but it is a club I support through thick and thin, sickness and in health despite my reservations, doubts and questions. It's what a supporter is supposed to be about.

I mean no disrespect at all to the new guy, but when Doncaster fans are online suggesting they have got rid of their 'worst ever keeper' and whom I can't see playing many first class professional games between 2019 and his loan to an Irish club in 2024, and we pay a fee, and he is only with us until the summer... What on earth is going on behind the scenes?

He's 26 according to Wiki with a very uninspiring CV .

From Donny Dagger...

The lad you've got from Donny Louis Jones is a thoroughly nice lad, everybody up here wishes him the best to restart his career. A decent shot stopper, doesn't particularly like coming off his line and prone to the odd mistake. He was first choice then fell back down the pecking order when Grant came back and keeps being shunted out on loan. A bit strange as its says an undisclosed fee and by what ive been said he's only signed to the end of the season. As I say everybody wishes him well, he's been a good servant to us! I'm sorry to hear Daggers appear to be a sh*te show at the minute. As you know although my first love is Donny (born and bred) but having lived in Becontree for years and married a Dagenham lass (rip) , Daggers are my second love,

A big loss. He is up there with the best players I have seen in Dagenham shirt. I wish him well for the future. The new keeper needs to be given a chance as do the other new recruits. COYD

They’ve just been bought by millionaires and Kevin Horock ex West Ham has been appointed manager.

Good luck Elliot.

(If we’re not careful, they could overtake us!)
