Afc Wimbledon away FA Cup 2nd round
Agreed, not a perfect draw, but the pressure is all on them. They’re also a worse team than Crewe based on how the table reads, so let’s go into this again with no fear and see what we can get.
When will we have confirmation on the time and date? I know this is unlikely to be a TV match, but it would be good to know the 3pm slot is locked in.

FFS what bright spark thought up a 7:15 kick off on a Saturday evening.
Well done for not giving a shit about the fans once again.

Even down in our Non League level were now getting a season with a couple of weekends home or away and next on the agenda a Cup game at a ridiculous time finishing WITHOUT extra time and penalties if needed at around 9pm! I know dedicated fans coming from places like Bognor/ Brighton / Southend list goes on, don't give a toss about fans again!

The person who knows I am already booked at a conference in SW London on the day, and won't be free until around 5pmstanton101 wrote: ↑Thu Nov 07, 2024 5:30 pm FFS what bright spark thought up a 7:15 kick off on a Saturday evening.

Although with our winning record at games I'm not present at, I'm wondering if I should go..

It’s annoying that we’re kicking off so late, but that’s more because it will hit our attendance. Unless you live really far outside of London it’ll be fine to get home after, even if it does go the distance.
But the Non League Paper reported that those in tv matches will receive £60k. Not sure if that is each or between us, but either way it’s pretty good going!!

It is not ideal for some to alter the kick off to a 715pm start, however, from a financial point of view it is working out very lucrative. We have already won £54,000 in prize money with the winners of this game due another £75,000 with £20,000 to the losers. In addition to this, as I understand it, the broadcast fee paid to each club will be £60,000 each. Also gate receipts need to be added to this as well.
All in all, by my reckoning, this all adds up to at least around £120,000, which for our club is a very tidy and welcoming sum.
