Interesting move to start the summer recruitment... very clear that we need a whole new start in the midfield but can't help but be concerned when a team like Boreham Wood let a player leave at seasons end because they suggest they couldn't guarantee him playing time next year with their own expected recruitment coming in.

It seemed that he lost playing time last season with arrival of Brunt on loan and perhaps BW have hopes of signing him from Sheff Utd.
From memory of seeing him play he gave intensity to the midfield and has a rep for getting goals so could well be a good replacement for Matt Robinson. As you say it will be interesting to see who plays alongside him. I would like us to have a player on the lines of Boucard to control the game but we just may not have enough funds for that.

I now try not to pre-judge players before they make an appearance, as two players in particular stand out in recent times that have been a total surprise have been Connor Wilkinson and Junior Morias for example as they proved to be really good for us despite their previous uninspiring records. . It has also worked in reverse lots of times when we have signed players with good reputations that have been big disappointments in Daggers colours. I would hope that Ben is getting players in that he feels can be the right type to make the team a lot more competitive and an improvement on the last couple of seasons, only time will tell.
