Promising Keeper? He is absolute pony! Nunn never got resigned, Robinson should be no more than a sporadic player with the likes of Munns being kept on and a signing of top National League players.
If you think our squad will compete with Stockport, Fylde, Wrexham, Chesterfield, Notts County then i suppose you have a poor footballing knowledge. Wilkinson, Balanta and Justham are the only ones who get into the top 6 sides in our league. A lot of money needs to be spent unfortunately. Taylor got it right maybe 5 times out of 20 odd last year.

As I've said before, I believe Wilko, Balanta, Gordon, Justham and Clark are all good enough to be playing in a side that can get into the playoffs. Possibly add Robinson as well now, so that still leaves us 2 defenders, 3 midfielders short. But were not in June yet and that's not to say McQueen wont drastically improve or that Luque wont be the next player like Fejiri to go up the leagues after joining us.
I think whilst its brilliant to have the American backing, we also need to be a realistic. I don't think we will be chucking money like Salford were last year and we are not a huge club like the Orients or Notts County's in this division. We have been a club that lived within its means until a few years ago and look where that nearly got us when we changed. I think the Americans are trying to bring in an infrastructure that will benefit the club long term and not just boom and bust like Hornchurch, Weymouth, Grays or Rushden and Diamonds.
The last two times we went out and brought in players who excelled at our level it financially killed us on both occasions, think of Garry Hill's last season and John Still's. Big budget spends and poor performances.
In terms of the new signings I don't know either player, Strizovic has been brought in as a young goalkeeper to learn from Justham, I would rather have a young keeper on a lower wage that 2 experienced keepers where one does not play and puts a hole in the budget. Hopefully Luque will be another player we bring from a lower level and moves up a level think Fejiri, Benno, Kandol, Moore. But for everyone of those there is a Chris Assombalonga who will not progress and is simply not up to the level. Credit where its due with Taylor when he has had finances his signings have been good, Wilko, Balanta, Clark. I believe he needs this window to show what sort of team he is putting together and people need to be willing to give him a chance and a bit of time to get the right players in.
I like the owners statement about how he wants to move the club forward, but it seems that his statement has put ideas out there that we are going to do a Salford and attempt to buy the league by buying big name player on huge wages.

Julian Dicks highly rates Luque at this level.
