Touched on this in the Hawkins departure thread - but I feel like this new deal is probably a statement of Joe will be our replacement for Hawks.
It's a satisfying way to go about our business, replacing players we've brought on with new ones within the club - if it continues to work!
I don't know a great deal about Joe. I expected Bloomfield to be more likely as a 'replacement' if you call it that - for Hawkins, but perhaps Joe is going to be given more chances. He has been off the bench in our last two games after all.

Chuffed with this.
Not many of our youngsters do as well as he did at Conference South level last season. Think he netted around ten goals including four or five in a row at some point. Excited for him to feature at some point.

He has done nothing wrong when he has come on as sub and at 18 years old looks very promising. Let's hope he gets more chances to play and the crowd get behind him. COYD
