There's been a few comments about this in various other threads, so I'm curious to see a larger general opinion on this. We're certainly a bit spoilt for choice.
Assuming there were to be no further arrivals or departures of our forward line, who do you play?

I would emphasise this is more an opinion of who you think will start on the first game of the season. Pre-season will likely play a part. The secondary reason I ask this now is also a question over a player I wonder if has become forgotten figure.
The comments/small discussions on here and other forums about our forwards that I've seen have all failed to even mention his name.
Elliot Romain. Signed for an undisclosed fee only three months ago.

The official site quoted "Dagenham & Redbridge Football Club have moved fast to fend off rival bids..." He was also given the number 9 shirt if that means anything.

One thing the post doesn't say is how long his contract is.
What does his future hold? Clearly he was well thought of by the club, but can anyone see him getting a game at the moment? It would seem strange if he has been written off - he seemed to get pretty good reviews on here in some of the games he played and not so long into the past, when we first signed Hawkins mid-season, he didn't exactly set the world alight for the remainder of that season either.

Our other attacking players now available: Hawkins, Cheek, Whiteley, Ferrier, Okenabirhie, Sparkes.

Good post. The first time I saw him I was impressed by his work rate. The problem being that when you watch a match live and a player for the first time you can get a bit carried away with that type of effort because in this country, and I wouldn't change it, we love defending from the front. If your center forward doesn't chase their left back in the corner then he's a lazy c*nt. The fact it's Tiring and doesn't actually gain anything means very little. I'm guilty of this as much as anyone and I think it's what's makes our football more exciting than the European leagues, but as our elite teams in Europe , and our wonderfully, consistently shite national team, prove it's not the best way to play football. I haven't really seen much end product or skill from him, admittedly I only did 4 away games last season so didn't see him as much as others, but I'll take a grafter at this level because you can always work with him. And if he was the finished article he wouldn't be playing for dagenham. I like him.

with a forward line like that all will be looking over there shoulder which I like.
I'd go 442 this year to get halk and cheek up top.
whitely and ferrier on wings

I like Elliot Romain he does put a shift in all he needs is to put the ball in the back of the net for his 1st goal then I think he will pop a good few for us.
